Responsibilities
- Transport medical specimens, lab results, and pharmaceuticals between hospitals, clinics, and labs
- Maintain strict temperature control for sensitive materials during transit
- Document delivery status using our mobile tracking system
- Perform vehicle safety inspections and routine maintenance checks
- Adhere to HIPAA compliance protocols at all times
- Coordinate with healthcare facilities for efficient pickup/delivery schedules
- Handle medical waste disposal in accordance with OSHA regulations
Qualifications
- Valid Florida driver's license with clean driving record
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly
- Strong time management and navigation skills
- Basic knowledge of medical terminology preferred
- Experience with route planning software a plus
- Background check and drug screen required
- Must pass DOT physical examination
