Responsibilities
- Safely transport medical specimens, blood products, and critical pharmaceuticals in temperature-controlled containers
- Maintain meticulous chain-of-custody documentation and HIPAA compliance protocols
- Utilize GPS navigation for efficient multi-stop delivery routes across Phoenix metro area
- Perform routine vehicle inspections and maintain cleanliness of transport equipment
- Communicate professionally with healthcare staff regarding delivery status and special handling requirements
- Adhere to strict biohazard safety procedures during all handling and transport activities
- Provide real-time delivery updates through our proprietary tracking system
Qualifications
- Valid Arizona driver's license with clean driving record (no DUIs in past 5 years)
- High school diploma or equivalent; medical transport certification preferred
- Experience with temperature-controlled transport and biohazard handling
- Proficiency in using mobile tracking applications and digital documentation systems
- Ability to lift 50 lbs repeatedly and navigate medical facility layouts
