Responsibilities
- Safely transport medical specimens, medications, and confidential documents between healthcare facilities
- Maintain strict adherence to HIPAA compliance protocols and temperature-controlled transport requirements
- Utilize GPS navigation for efficient routing and real-time delivery tracking
- Complete detailed documentation of deliveries and handle special handling instructions
- Perform vehicle inspections and maintenance checks to ensure operational readiness
- Provide exceptional customer service to healthcare facility staff and patients
- Collaborate with dispatch team to optimize delivery schedules and resolve issues
Qualifications
- Valid Arizona driver's license with clean driving record (no DUIs in past 5 years)
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs regularly
- Experience with medical specimen handling or healthcare logistics preferred
- Proficiency with mobile technology and delivery tracking apps
- Strong time management skills and punctuality in fast-paced environments
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Pass background check and pre-employment drug screening
- Knowledge of Phoenix metro area roadways and traffic patterns
