Responsibilities
- Safely transport medical specimens, blood products, and pharmaceuticals using climate-controlled vehicles
- Maintain strict chain of custody documentation and HIPAA compliance protocols
- Optimize delivery routes using GPS technology to ensure timely arrivals
- Perform vehicle safety inspections and basic maintenance checks
- Communicate with healthcare providers and dispatch teams via mobile systems
- Handle hazardous materials training and biohazard waste disposal procedures
Qualifications
- Valid California driver's license with clean driving record (3+ years)
- Medical transport or healthcare logistics experience preferred
- OSHA Bloodborne Pathogens certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods
- Proficiency with mobile tracking and inventory management systems
