Responsibilities
- Safely transport medical specimens, organs, and pharmaceuticals in temperature-controlled vehicles
- Maintain chain of custody documentation and HIPAA compliance protocols
- Optimize delivery routes for maximum efficiency and on-time performance
- Communicate professionally with medical facilities and patients
- Perform vehicle safety inspections and maintenance checks
- Adhere to strict biohazard handling procedures
- Operate specialized medical courier equipment
Qualifications
- Valid Alaska driver's license with clean driving record
- Minimum 1 year professional driving or medical transport experience
- OSHA bloodborne pathogen certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and operate in extreme weather conditions
- Strong attention to detail and time management skills
