Responsibilities
- Safely transport medical specimens, blood products, and pharmaceuticals via company-provided vehicle
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and electronic tracking systems
- Adhere to HIPAA/GMP protocols for handling sensitive materials
- Perform pre/post-trip vehicle inspections and basic maintenance
- Coordinate with dispatch teams for real-time route adjustments
- Provide exceptional customer service to healthcare facility staff
- Manage temperature-controlled shipments with calibrated equipment
Qualifications
- Valid California driver's license with clean MVR (3+ years)
- Experience with medical transport or cold chain logistics preferred
- Ability to lift 50 lbs and navigate medical facility layouts
- Basic knowledge of HIPAA compliance and biohazard handling
- Strong time management with GPS navigation proficiency
- Pass background check and drug screening
- High school diploma or equivalent (CDL a plus)
