Responsibilities
- Safely transport medical specimens, lab results, and critical supplies to healthcare facilities across NYC
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation for all medical materials
- Adhere to HIPAA compliance and chain-of-custody protocols for sensitive shipments
- Perform pre-trip vehicle inspections and basic maintenance checks
- Provide exceptional customer service to medical staff and patients
- Optimize delivery routes using GPS technology to ensure on-time arrivals
- Communicate proactively with dispatch and healthcare partners
Qualifications
- Valid driver's license with clean driving record (minimum 3 years)
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand/walk for extended periods
