Responsibilities
- Safely transport medical specimens, blood products, and pharmaceuticals in climate-controlled vehicles
- Maintain strict chain-of-custody documentation and HIPAA compliance protocols
- Optimize delivery routes to ensure on-time arrival at hospitals, labs, and clinics
- Perform vehicle safety inspections and maintain clean, organized transport equipment
- Provide exceptional customer service to healthcare facility staff and patients
- Utilize GPS tracking systems for real-time route adjustments and proof of delivery
- Handle temperature-sensitive materials with specialized handling techniques
- Complete incident reports for any delivery irregularities or equipment malfunctions
Qualifications
- Valid California driver's license with clean driving record (3+ years)
- Current CPR certification or willingness to obtain within 30 days
- Experience handling biohazardous materials or medical specimens preferred
- Proficiency with mobile technology and route optimization apps
- Ability to lift 50 lbs unassisted and work in varying weather conditions

- Pass background check and drug screening per DOT regulations
