Responsibilities
- Safely transport medical specimens, organs, and pharmaceuticals using temperature-controlled vehicles
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation using our mobile tracking system
- Adhere to HIPAA regulations and biohazard safety protocols at all times
- Coordinate with hospitals, labs, and clinics for efficient pickup/delivery scheduling
- Conduct pre-trip vehicle inspections and ensure proper equipment maintenance
- Provide exceptional customer service to healthcare providers and patients
- Utilize remote access for route planning and administrative tasks
Qualifications
- Valid driver's license with clean driving record
- Minimum 1 year medical/courier experience or equivalent healthcare logistics background
- OSHA Bloodborne Pathogens certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Proficient with smartphone navigation apps and basic digital documentation
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods
- Strong time management and problem-solving skills
- Reliable personal vehicle or willingness to use company-provided vehicle
