Responsibilities
- Safely transport medical specimens, medications, and lab equipment using temperature-controlled vehicles
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and electronic tracking systems in real-time
- Coordinate with healthcare facilities via remote communication for pickup/delivery scheduling
- Adhere to HIPAA compliance protocols and biohazard handling standards
- Perform vehicle maintenance checks and ensure cleanliness of transport units
- Resolve delivery exceptions through proactive remote coordination
- Complete required documentation with 100% accuracy
Qualifications
- Valid Indiana driver's license with clean driving record
- Minimum 1 year medical courier or healthcare logistics experience
- OSHA Bloodborne Pathogens certification (or willingness to obtain)
