Responsibilities
- Safely transport medical specimens, pharmaceuticals, and lab samples to Louisville healthcare facilities using company-provided vehicles
- Maintain strict temperature control and chain-of-custody protocols for time-sensitive deliveries
- Complete digital documentation and route optimization via our remote dispatch portal
- Provide exceptional customer service to medical staff during facility drop-offs
- Conduct pre/post-trip vehicle inspections and maintain cleanliness standards
- Adhere to HIPAA compliance and OSHA safety regulations at all times
- Collaborate with dispatch team to resolve delivery exceptions and route adjustments
Qualifications
- Valid driver's license with clean record and ability to pass DOT physical
- Minimum 1 year commercial driving experience or medical delivery background
- Proficiency with mobile technology for route navigation and documentation
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand/walk for extended periods
- Strong time management skills with attention to detail
- Flexibility to work early mornings, evenings, and weekends as needed
- Basic knowledge of medical specimen handling procedures preferred
- Reliable home internet connection for remote dispatch coordination
