Responsibilities
- Safely transport medical specimens, pharmaceuticals, and lab supplies to Portland-area hospitals and clinics
- Maintain strict temperature control for sensitive materials during transit Utilize electronic logging systems for real-time tracking and documentation
- Adhere to HIPAA compliance protocols and chain-of-custody procedures
- Provide exceptional customer service to healthcare facility staff
- Perform vehicle safety inspections and maintenance checks
- Optimize delivery routes using GPS navigation systems
Qualifications
- Valid Oregon driver's license with clean driving record
- 1+ years experience in medical transport or logistics
- OSHA Bloodborne Pathogens certification preferred
- Proficient in using mobile technology and delivery apps
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly
- Strong time management and problem-solving skills
- Background check and drug screen required
