Responsibilities
- Safely transport medical specimens, lab samples, and confidential documents across Lubbock and surrounding areas
- Adhere to HIPAA compliance protocols for handling sensitive patient information
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and real-time tracking using our proprietary mobile app
- Coordinate with healthcare facilities, labs, and pharmacies for timely pickups/drop-offs
- Perform pre-trip vehicle inspections and ensure proper maintenance of assigned courier vehicle
- Utilize remote scheduling tools to optimize routes and minimize transit time
- Communicate delivery status updates via secure digital channels
Qualifications
- Valid Texas driver's license with clean driving record (3+ years)
- High school diploma or equivalent; healthcare logistics experience preferred
- Proficiency with GPS navigation and mobile technology (remote reporting)
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to HIPAA compliance
- Ability to lift up to 40 lbs and work in various weather conditions
- Excellent time management and problem-solving skills
- Basic knowledge of medical specimen handling protocols
- Reliable transportation to our Lubbock hub (remote work outside delivery hours)
