Responsibilities
- Safely transport medical specimens, lab results, and sensitive healthcare materials between hospitals, labs, and clinics
- Maintain precise temperature control for temperature-sensitive shipments using specialized equipment
- Document all deliveries using our digital tracking system with 100% accuracy
- Adhere to HIPAA compliance protocols for patient data protection during transport
- Perform routine vehicle safety checks and maintain cleanliness of company vehicles
- Provide exceptional customer service to healthcare professionals at delivery points
- Respond proactively to delivery exceptions and coordinate with dispatch for solutions
- Complete all required training modules and maintain certifications
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED required)
- Valid New York driver's license with clean driving record (no major violations in 3 years)
- Ability to pass background check and drug screening
- Basic computer literacy for using delivery tracking systems
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand/walk for extended periods
- Reliable transportation to start location (company vehicle provided during shifts)
