Responsibilities
- Transport medical specimens, lab samples, and sensitive documents to various medical facilities and laboratories in the Arlington area.
- Ensure strict adherence to all HIPAA regulations and company safety protocols regarding the handling of bio-hazardous materials.
- Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the delivery vehicle at all times.
- Utilize handheld scanners and mobile applications to accurately log deliveries and update tracking systems in real-time.
- Adhere to strict delivery schedules, time windows, and route plans provided by dispatch.
- Provide exceptional customer service when interacting with medical staff and patients at drop-off locations.
- Report any vehicle maintenance issues or delivery delays immediately to management.
Qualifications
- A valid Driver’s License and a clean driving record (no DUIs within the last 3-5 years).
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Reliable access to a personal vehicle with current insurance and registration.
- Strong sense of punctuality and the ability to work flexible hours, including early mornings and weekends.
- Basic proficiency with smartphones and technology (scanners/apps).
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
