Responsibilities
- Safely transport medical specimens, lab samples, pharmaceuticals, and equipment to healthcare facilities
- Maintain strict temperature control and chain-of-custody protocols for sensitive materials
- Accurately document delivery information using our digital tracking system
- Perform pre-trip vehicle inspections and ensure cleanliness of transport units
- Adhere to HIPAA compliance and all healthcare transportation regulations
- Communicate delivery status updates to dispatch and receiving facilities
- Assist with inventory management and restocking of medical supplies
Qualifications
- Valid Tennessee driver's license with clean driving record
- Ability to pass background check and drug screening
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED accepted)
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Basic computer literacy for digital documentation systems
- Reliable transportation to/from our Nashville depot
- Ability to lift up to 40 lbs and stand for extended periods
