Responsibilities
- Safely transport medical specimens, lab results, and pharmaceutical supplies between hospitals, clinics, and labs
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation using our proprietary tracking system
- Adhere to HIPAA compliance and infection control protocols at all times
- Provide exceptional customer service to healthcare staff and patients
- Perform vehicle safety checks and maintenance as required
- Operate GPS navigation systems to optimize delivery routes
- Coordinate with dispatch team for real-time delivery adjustments
- Assist in inventory management of medical supplies
Qualifications
- Valid North Carolina driver's license with clean driving record
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED accepted)
- Ability to pass background check and drug screening
- Basic computer literacy for using delivery tracking systems
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly
- Reliable transportation to our Durham hub (mileage reimbursed)
- Willingness to work flexible hours including early mornings
