Responsibilities
- Safely transport medical specimens, lab results, and pharmaceuticals in temperature-controlled vehicles
- Maintain accurate delivery records using our digital tracking system
- Adhere to HIPAA compliance protocols for patient data protection
- Perform routine vehicle inspections and basic maintenance checks
- Coordinate with hospital staff and lab personnel for seamless handoffs
- Manage time-sensitive deliveries with precision and punctuality
- Follow all safety protocols for hazardous materials transport
Qualifications
- Valid Florida driver's license with clean driving record
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED accepted)
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly throughout shift
- Basic smartphone proficiency for GPS and communication
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Reliable transportation to our Jacksonville hub (5:30 AM start)
