Responsibilities
- Safely transport medical specimens, lab results, and equipment between healthcare facilities
- Maintain strict temperature control for temperature-sensitive shipments
- Complete accurate delivery documentation and electronic tracking
- Adhere to HIPAA compliance protocols for patient data protection
- Perform vehicle safety checks and maintenance reporting
- Communicate professionally with medical staff and clients
- Manage time efficiently to meet delivery schedules
- Assist with inventory management of medical supplies
Qualifications
- Valid New York State driver's license with clean driving record
- Ability to pass background check and drug screening
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED accepted)
- Basic computer literacy for electronic documentation
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally
- Reliable transportation to/from depot (parking provided)
