Responsibilities
- Pick up and deliver medical specimens, lab samples, and confidential documents to medical facilities in the Tampa area in a safe and timely manner.
- Adhere strictly to all HIPAA regulations and company safety protocols regarding the handling of biohazardous materials.
- Inspect and maintain vehicle cleanliness and safety, ensuring the unit is ready for daily operations.
- Utilize company-provided technology to accurately log delivery statuses and update tracking systems in real-time.
- Handle customer service interactions professionally, ensuring a positive experience for hospital staff and patients.
- Verify and secure all packages before and after delivery to prevent loss or damage.
Qualifications
- Valid Driver’s License and a clean driving record (no DUIs within the last 3-5 years).
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Ability to pass a comprehensive background check and drug screening.
- Reliable smartphone with GPS capabilities for route management.
- Physical ability to load and unload packages, including lifting items up to 50 lbs occasionally.
- Strong time-management skills and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
