Responsibilities
- Secure Transport: Safely deliver medical specimens and pharmaceuticals to hospitals, labs, and clinics across Lexington and the surrounding areas.
- Equipment Management: Utilize the premium equipment provided by the company, including insulated medical bags, thermal sensors, and handheld scanners, to ensure sample integrity.
- Documentation: Accurately log delivery data, verify recipient signatures, and upload proof of delivery using our proprietary tracking software.
- Safety & Compliance: Adhere strictly to HIPAA regulations and all local traffic laws to ensure the safety of patients and confidential data.
- Vehicle Maintenance: Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the company vehicle and report any maintenance needs immediately.
- Customer Service: Interact professionally with medical staff and facility security personnel to facilitate smooth drop-offs.
Qualifications
- License: Valid Driver’s License required with a clean driving record (no DUIs or major violations).
- Background: Must pass a background check and drug screening.
- Physical Ability: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand for extended periods.
- Experience: Prior experience in courier, delivery, or logistics is preferred but not required for dedicated candidates.
- Technology: Basic proficiency with smartphones and handheld devices is a plus.
- Schedule: Must be available for flexible shifts, including early mornings and weekends.
