As a Medical Courier, you will be responsible for the safe and timely delivery of sensitive medical specimens, documents, and equipment to hospitals, labs, and clinics. Responsibilities
- Transport medical specimens and patient samples safely and securely using insulated containers and temperature-controlled equipment.
- Maintain accurate records of delivery times and status updates using handheld scanners and GPS systems.
- Ensure all vehicles are kept clean, sanitary, and fueled before and after routes.
- Adhere strictly to all traffic laws and company safety protocols at all times.
- Handle sensitive patient information with strict confidentiality (HIPAA compliance).
- Pick up and drop off packages at designated medical facilities during specified time windows.
- Report any vehicle maintenance issues or delivery discrepancies immediately to dispatch.
Qualifications
- Valid Driver's License (Class C) and a clean driving record (no major violations within the last 3 years).
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
- Strong time management skills and punctuality.
- Basic computer literacy and ability to operate handheld delivery devices.
- Physically capable of lifting and carrying packages weighing up to 50 lbs repeatedly.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Experience in logistics, delivery, or the medical field is preferred but not required.
