Responsibilities
- Safely transport blood samples, specimens, and medical supplies in compliance with HIPAA and safety regulations.
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries and ensure all packages are handled with extreme care.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure the courier van is in excellent condition.
- Update tracking systems and communicate with medical facilities regarding delivery status.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and company driving policies to ensure passenger and cargo safety.
Qualifications
- Valid Class C Driver’s License with a clean driving record.
- Ability to pass a comprehensive background check and drug screen.
- Physical ability to lift packages weighing up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
- Reliable smartphone with data access for GPS and communication.
- Strong time management skills and attention to detail.
