Responsibilities
- Safely and efficiently transport sensitive medical specimens, pharmaceuticals, and lab samples to designated medical facilities and laboratories in the Chandler area.
- Ensure strict adherence to temperature control requirements and chain-of-custody protocols for all medical deliveries.
- Verify and document delivery information accurately using handheld devices and electronic signature pads.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary vehicle interior to comply with health and safety regulations.
- Adhere to all local traffic laws and company driving policies to ensure passenger and cargo safety.
- Perform routine vehicle inspections and report any maintenance needs immediately.
Qualifications
- Valid Class C Driver’s License with a clean driving record (no major violations in the last 3-5 years).
- Ability to pass a comprehensive background check and drug screening.
- Basic computer literacy and comfort with handheld scanning devices.
- Ability to lift and carry packages weighing up to 50 lbs repeatedly throughout the shift.
- Strong time management skills with the ability to plan efficient delivery routes.
- Professional demeanor and excellent communication skills.
