Responsibilities
- Transport medical specimens, lab samples, and healthcare supplies safely and securely to designated medical facilities.
- Adhere to strict HIPAA compliance standards and maintain patient confidentiality at all times.
- Utilize handheld scanners and GPS technology to track deliveries and ensure accuracy.
- Perform routine pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety and compliance.
- Maintain a clean, professional appearance of the delivery vehicle and uniform.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and medical facility personnel regarding delivery status.
- Handle documentation and paperwork accurately for each delivery.
Qualifications
- Valid Class C Driver’s License and a clean driving record (no DUIs within the last 7 years).
- Ability to pass a comprehensive background check and drug screen.
- Ability to lift and carry packages weighing up to 50 lbs repeatedly.
- Proficiency with mobile devices, smartphones, and GPS navigation systems.
- Reliable, punctual, and detail-oriented work ethic.
- Strong customer service skills and professional demeanor.
- Willingness to work in various weather conditions.
