The Role
As a Medical Courier, you are the critical link in our healthcare supply chain. You will ensure that sensitive medical materials reach their destination safely, securely, and on time, every time.
Responsibilities
- Perform safe and timely pick-up and delivery of medical specimens, documents, and laboratory samples to various healthcare facilities.
- Adhere strictly to all safety regulations, HIPAA compliance standards, and Department of Transportation (DOT) guidelines.
- Maintain the cleanliness and professional appearance of the delivery vehicle.
- Complete accurate logs and paperwork for every delivery, including electronic proof of delivery (POD).
- Interact professionally with medical staff, patients, and facility personnel.
- Handle temperature-sensitive materials with care and ensure proper storage conditions.
Qualifications
- A valid Driver's License with a clean driving record (no major violations within the last 3 years).
- A reliable personal vehicle that is insured and in good mechanical condition.
- The ability to pass a background check and a pre-employment drug screen.
- Strong time management skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Basic computer literacy for accessing delivery apps and logging data.
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
