As a critical link in the healthcare supply chain, you will be responsible for the safe and timely transport of sensitive medical specimens, documents, and equipment to hospitals, laboratories, and clinics.
Responsibilities
- Transport and deliver medical specimens, documents, and equipment to designated pickup and drop-off locations in Glendale and surrounding areas.
- Adhere strictly to all local, state, and federal traffic laws, as well as company safety protocols and HIPAA regulations.
- Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the delivery vehicle at all times.
- Utilize GPS navigation and mobile apps to optimize routes and ensure on-time deliveries.
- Handle packages with extreme care, ensuring temperature control is maintained where required.
- Complete daily logs and vehicle inspection reports accurately and promptly.
- Communicate professionally with medical staff and clients regarding delivery status.
Qualifications
- A valid Driver's License (Class C) with a clean driving record (no more than 2 moving violations in the last 3 years).
- Ability to pass a comprehensive background check and drug screen.
- Professional appearance and a customer-service-oriented attitude.
- Basic computer literacy and proficiency with smartphone applications for navigation.
- Ability to lift packages up to 25-50 lbs occasionally and stand for extended periods.
- Must be 21 years of age or older.
- Reliable transportation and auto insurance coverage.
