Responsibilities
- Safely transport sensitive medical specimens, lab samples, and pharmaceuticals to hospitals, clinics, and laboratories within strict time windows.
- Maintain a spotless, compliant vehicle and strictly adhere to biohazard and HIPAA safety protocols.
- Verify and document delivery information accurately using handheld scanning devices.
- Provide exceptional customer service to medical staff and patients at pickup and drop-off locations.
- Perform routine vehicle inspections and report any maintenance needs immediately.
- Follow all traffic laws and company driving policies to ensure 100% safety records.
Qualifications
- Valid Driver's License (Class C) and a clean driving record (no more than 1 moving violation in the last 3 years).
- Ability to lift and carry items weighing up to 50 lbs repeatedly throughout the shift.
- Flexibility to work varied shifts, including early mornings, evenings, and weekends.
- Strong time management skills with the ability to navigate complex traffic and route changes.
- Willingness to pass a background check and drug screening.
