Responsibilities
- Pick up and deliver medical specimens, samples, and documents to hospitals, laboratories, and medical facilities within the Jacksonville area.
- Maintain the cleanliness and sanitation of the delivery vehicle at all times.
- Verify the accuracy of delivery documentation and ensure all regulatory compliance (HIPAA, OSHA) is strictly followed.
- Adhere to all traffic laws, safety regulations, and company driving policies.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and medical facility personnel regarding delivery status and any delays.
- Handle sensitive materials with the utmost care and confidentiality.
Qualifications
- Valid Driver’s License (Class C or higher) with a clean driving record.
- Ability to lift and carry packages weighing up to 50 lbs comfortably.
- Reliable access to a well-maintained vehicle (if not provided by company).
- Basic computer literacy for GPS navigation and logging deliveries.
- Strong time management skills and the ability to work independently.
- Willingness to undergo a background check and drug screening.
