Responsibilities
- Safely transport medical specimens, pharmaceuticals, and documents to designated healthcare facilities and laboratories.
- Adhere to strict HIPAA compliance and safety protocols to ensure the confidentiality and integrity of all medical materials.
- Maintain accurate logs of delivery times, temperatures (if applicable), and package conditions.
- Perform routine vehicle inspections and ensure the cleanliness and organization of the delivery vehicle.
- Uphold a professional image while interacting with medical staff and clients.
- Handle package handling with care to prevent damage or contamination.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and healthcare providers regarding delays or issues.
Qualifications
- Valid Class C Driver’s License and a clean driving record (MVR check required).
- Ability to lift and carry packages weighing up to 50 lbs repeatedly.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Reliable transportation with valid auto insurance.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
- Basic computer literacy for logging deliveries.
