Responsibilities
- Safely transport medical specimens, lab results, pharmaceuticals, and equipment to healthcare facilities
- Maintain strict temperature control for sensitive shipments using specialized equipment
- Verify delivery documentation and maintain accurate electronic logs
- Adhere to HIPAA compliance protocols and security procedures
- Perform vehicle inspections and routine maintenance checks
- Communicate delivery status and delays to dispatch and clients
- Collaborate with healthcare staff to ensure timely critical deliveries
Qualifications
- Valid Colorado driver's license with clean driving record
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
- Experience in medical/pharmaceutical shipping preferred
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand/walk for extended periods
- Proficiency with GPS navigation and mobile technology
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Pass background check and drug screening
- Basic knowledge of medical specimen handling procedures
