Responsibilities
- Safely transport medical specimens, blood products, organs, and pharmaceuticals in temperature-controlled containers
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and electronic tracking systems for all shipments
- Adhere to HIPAA regulations and biohazard safety protocols at all times
- Coordinate with medical facilities to ensure timely and secure deliveries
- Perform vehicle safety inspections and maintain clean, organized transport vehicles
- Provide exceptional customer service to healthcare partners during critical time-sensitive deliveries
Qualifications
- Valid driver's license with clean driving record (3+ years)
- High school diploma or equivalent; medical transport certification preferred
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand/walk for extended periods
- Experience with HIPAA compliance and biohazard handling protocols
- Strong time management skills with ability to navigate efficiently in Buffalo metro area
- Reliable transportation to/from our Buffalo depot (555 Main Street)
- Immediate availability to start within 48 hours of offer
