Responsibilities
- Safely transport medical specimens, pharmaceuticals, and lab samples to designated healthcare facilities
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and electronic tracking systems for all shipments
- Adhere to strict HIPAA compliance and chain-of-custody protocols
- Perform vehicle safety checks and report maintenance needs promptly
- Coordinate with hospital staff and clinics for efficient pickup/delivery schedules
- Manage temperature-controlled shipments using specialized medical transport equipment
- Provide exceptional customer service to healthcare partners during all interactions
Qualifications
- Valid Nevada driver's license with clean driving record (no DUIs)
- High school diploma or equivalent; medical transport certification preferred
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and operate medical refrigeration units
- Strong navigation skills with knowledge of Henderson and Las Vegas Valley
- Experience with electronic tracking systems and route optimization software
- Background check and drug screening clearance required
- Ability to work flexible shifts including weekends and holidays
