Responsibilities
- Safely transport medical specimens, lab materials, and pharmaceuticals across Honolulu and surrounding areas
- Maintain precise delivery documentation and chain-of-custody records
- Adhere to HIPAA compliance and biohazard safety protocols
- Coordinate with healthcare facilities for timely pickups and deliveries
- Perform vehicle inspections and maintenance checks
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and medical staff
- Manage temperature-controlled shipments for sensitive materials
Qualifications
- Valid Hawaii driver's license with clean driving record
- High school diploma or equivalent (college degree preferred)
- Ability to lift 50 lbs and navigate stairs/elevators
- Strong time management and organizational skills
- Experience with medical transport or logistics preferred
- Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and biohazard handling
- Proficient with GPS and mobile tracking systems
- Ability to work flexible hours including weekends
