Responsibilities
- Safely transport time-sensitive medical specimens, blood products, and pharmaceuticals between hospitals, labs, and clinics
- Maintain strict temperature control protocols for sensitive materials using specialized equipment
- Adhere to HIPAA compliance standards and maintain strict confidentiality of patient information
- Utilize GPS navigation systems for efficient routing and real-time tracking updates
- Complete accurate documentation and delivery verification for all shipments
- Perform vehicle safety inspections and maintenance checks daily
- Provide exceptional customer service to healthcare facility staff
Qualifications
- Valid Hawaii driver's license with clean driving record (no DUIs in past 5 years)
- High school diploma or equivalent; college coursework in healthcare preferred
- 1+ years of courier/delivery experience with temperature-sensitive materials
- OSHA bloodborne pathogen certification or willingness to obtain
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and navigate hospital corridors safely
- Strong time management skills and punctuality record
- Proficiency with mobile tracking apps and basic technology
- Pass background check and drug screening
