Responsibilities
- Safely transport medical specimens, organs, and pharmaceuticals in temperature-controlled vehicles
- Maintain strict chain of custody documentation and HIPAA compliance protocols
- Optimize delivery routes using GPS technology for maximum efficiency
- Perform vehicle inspections and quality control checks before each shift
- Provide real-time tracking updates to healthcare facility dispatchers
- Handle emergency deliveries with urgency and professionalism
- Train on specialized medical transport protocols and equipment
Qualifications
- Valid Oklahoma driver's license with clean driving record (no DUIs in past 5 years)
- Minimum 1 year experience in medical transport or logistics
- OSHA Bloodborne Pathogens certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Ability to lift 50 lbs and operate temperature-controlled equipment
- Proficient with GPS navigation and mobile communication devices
- Exceptional time management and problem-solving skills
- Background check and drug screening required
