Responsibilities
- Transport medical specimens, lab samples, and healthcare documents from medical facilities to testing laboratories or collection centers.
- Adhere strictly to HIPAA regulations and safety protocols to ensure the confidentiality and integrity of all medical specimens.
- Maintain the cleanliness and proper maintenance of the delivery vehicle at all times.
- Pick up and deliver packages between 8:00 AM and 5:00 PM, ensuring 100% on-time delivery rates.
- Log all deliveries and pick-ups accurately into the company's digital tracking system.
- Interact professionally with medical staff and patients in a courteous and respectful manner.
Qualifications
- Valid Driver’s License and a clean driving record (no DUIs or major violations).
- Ability to pass a comprehensive background check and drug screening.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Experience with handheld scanners or GPS navigation systems is preferred.
- Physically capable of lifting packages weighing up to 50 lbs and standing for extended periods.
- Professional appearance and strong time management skills.
