Key Duties
Your primary focus will be the safe and efficient transport of medical materials. You will ensure that all regulatory and safety standards are met while providing exceptional customer service.
Responsibilities
- Safely transport medical specimens, documents, and medical equipment to designated hospitals, laboratories, and clinics.
- Maintain strict adherence to cold chain protocols for temperature-sensitive biological samples.
- Utilize handheld scanning devices and digital logging tools to verify delivery accuracy and maintain electronic logs.
- Perform routine pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety and compliance.
- Uphold HIPAA compliance and strict patient confidentiality at all times.
- Manage multiple stops efficiently to meet time-sensitive delivery windows.
- Collaborate with dispatch teams to optimize routes and resolve logistical issues.
Qualifications
- Valid Class C Driver’s License with a clean driving record (no DUIs within the last 3 years).
- Ability to lift and carry packages weighing up to 50 lbs repeatedly throughout the shift.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent required.
- Excellent time management skills and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and documentation.
- Basic computer proficiency and comfort with mobile technology.
- Must be available to work varying shifts, including early mornings and weekends.
