Responsibilities
- Pick up and deliver medical specimens, lab samples, and medical equipment to hospitals, clinics, and laboratories on time.
- Ensure strict adherence to HIPAA and safety regulations during all transport operations.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary delivery vehicle at all times.
- Utilize handheld scanners and computer systems to track packages and update delivery status in real-time.
- Verify patient information and chain of custody documentation before leaving pickup and drop-off locations.
- Perform daily vehicle inspections and report any maintenance issues immediately.
Qualifications
- Valid Class C Driver’s License with a clean driving record (no major violations).
- Ability to pass a comprehensive background check and drug screening.
- Professional appearance and demeanor.
- Reliable transportation to the company facility.
- Basic computer literacy and familiarity with handheld scanners.
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent required.
