Responsibilities
- Transport medical specimens, samples, and equipment to hospitals, laboratories, and clinics in Laredo and surrounding areas.
- Maintain strict adherence to all safety protocols, temperature control requirements, and chain-of-custody documentation.
- Utilize handheld scanning devices and GPS tracking to ensure accurate delivery and real-time status updates.
- Perform thorough vehicle inspections and ensure the cleanliness and organization of the courier vehicle.
- Deliver exceptional customer service to hospital staff and clients, representing the company professionally at all times.
- Adhere to traffic laws and company driving policies to ensure a safe commute.
Qualifications
- Valid Class C Driver’s License with a clean driving record (no DUIs in the last 3 years).
- Ability to pass a comprehensive background check and drug screening.
- Reliable, punctual, and capable of working independently without direct supervision.
- Professional appearance and demeanor when interacting with healthcare professionals.
- Basic smartphone proficiency for logging deliveries and tracking routes.
