Responsibilities
- Safely transport medical specimens, blood products, pharmaceuticals, and lab supplies between hospitals, clinics, and labs
- Maintain strict temperature control for sensitive materials using specialized equipment
- Document all transfers with electronic manifests and maintain accurate delivery records
- Adhere to HIPAA compliance and biohazard safety protocols at all times
- Optimize delivery routes to ensure timely arrivals while following traffic regulations
- Communicate professionally with healthcare staff and resolve delivery exceptions
- Perform vehicle safety inspections and maintain cleanliness of courier equipment
Qualifications
- Valid Ohio driver's license with clean driving record (3+ years)
- High school diploma or equivalent; college degree preferred
- Experience in medical logistics, pharma delivery, or healthcare support
- Proficiency with GPS navigation and mobile tracking systems
- Exceptional time management and organizational abilities
- Ability to lift 50 lbs and operate in various weather conditions
