Responsibilities
- Safely transport medical specimens, pharmaceuticals, and equipment between healthcare facilities
- Maintain strict temperature control for sensitive materials during transit
- Complete accurate documentation and tracking of all shipments
- Adhere to HIPAA compliance protocols and confidentiality standards
- Provide exceptional customer service to clinic and hospital staff
- Perform vehicle safety checks and maintenance as required
- Optimize delivery routes for efficiency and timely arrivals
Qualifications
- Valid California driver's license with clean driving record
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Basic knowledge of medical specimen handling procedures
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Strong time management and organizational skills
- Comfortable with flexible scheduling including evenings/weekends
- Ability to lift up to 40 lbs and operate medical coolers
