Responsibilities
- Safely transport medical specimens, organs, vaccines, and pharmaceuticals using company-provided equipment
- Maintain strict temperature control and documentation for sensitive shipments
- Follow HIPAA compliance protocols and maintain chain-of-custody documentation
- Coordinate with healthcare facilities, labs, and distribution centers for timely pickups/deliveries
- Perform routine equipment maintenance checks and report malfunctions immediately
- Utilize GPS technology for optimized routing and real-time delivery tracking
- Provide exceptional customer service to medical partners and patients
Qualifications
- Valid NC driver's license with clean driving record
- High school diploma or equivalent (certification preferred)
- Experience with medical/pharmaceutical shipping protocols (training provided)
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and operate temperature-controlled equipment
- Strong attention to detail and adherence to safety procedures
- Basic proficiency with GPS technology and mobile applications
- Background check and drug screening required
- Reliable transportation to/from distribution center
