Responsibilities
- Transport medical specimens, organs, and pharmaceuticals with strict adherence to temperature protocols
- Utilize provided GPS-enabled vehicles and temperature-controlled containers
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and electronic tracking systems
- Coordinate with healthcare facilities for seamless pickups and drop-offs
- Perform equipment sanitization and quality checks before/after each delivery
- Adhere to HIPAA compliance standards for patient data protection
Qualifications
- Valid Michigan driver's license with clean driving record
- 1+ year experience in medical or high-value transport preferred
- Ability to lift 50 lbs and operate temperature control systems
- Strong time management with punctual delivery track record
- Basic knowledge of medical specimen handling procedures
- Excellent communication skills for healthcare provider interactions
