Responsibilities
- Safely transport medical specimens, lab results, and sensitive healthcare materials using company-provided vehicles and specialized equipment
- Maintain strict temperature control protocols for time-sensitive pharmaceuticals and biological samples
- Utilize company-issued GPS systems for real-time route optimization and delivery tracking
- Complete meticulous documentation and chain-of-custody procedures for all medical shipments
- Adhere to HIPAA compliance standards and healthcare security protocols
- Perform vehicle safety checks and equipment maintenance using provided tools
- Provide exceptional customer service to hospital staff, clinics, and laboratory personnel
Qualifications
- Valid Oregon driver's license with clean driving record
- Basic familiarity with medical specimen handling procedures
- Ability to operate temperature-controlled transport systems (training provided)
- Strong time management and route navigation skills
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly with proper equipment
- Background check and drug screening required
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Experience in logistics or healthcare transportation preferred
