Responsibilities
- Transport medical specimens, organs, pharmaceuticals, and equipment using company-provided specialized containers
- Maintain strict temperature control and documentation for sensitive medical shipments
- Adhere to HIPAA compliance protocols and maintain chain-of-custody records
- Coordinate with healthcare facilities for pickup/delivery scheduling and route optimization
- Perform pre-trip equipment inspections and troubleshoot basic issues
- Utilize GPS tracking systems for real-time route monitoring and updates
- Complete delivery verification and electronic documentation
Qualifications
- Valid California driver's license with clean driving record
- High school diploma or equivalent; healthcare logistics experience preferred
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand/walk for extended periods
- Strong attention to detail and time-management skills
- Basic familiarity with medical terminology and HIPAA regulations
