Responsibilities
- Safely transport medical specimens, blood products, and pharmaceuticals following HIPAA protocols
- Perform temperature-controlled deliveries for sensitive medical materials
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and electronic tracking documentation
- Coordinate with healthcare facilities for efficient pickup/dropoff scheduling
- Conduct pre-trip vehicle inspections and ensure cleanliness/maintenance
- Respond to urgent medical deliveries with time-sensitive routing
- Provide exceptional customer service to hospital staff and clinic personnel
Qualifications
- Valid Texas driver's license with clean driving record (3+ years)
- High school diploma or equivalent; college degree preferred
- Experience in medical transport or logistics industry
- Knowledge of HIPAA compliance and biohazard handling procedures
- Strong time management with ability to navigate El Paso efficiently
- Proficient in using GPS systems and delivery tracking software
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and operate in various weather conditions
