Job Responsibilities:
- Transport medical specimens, lab samples, and documents to designated medical facilities, clinics, and laboratories with strict adherence to time-sensitive schedules.
- Maintain strict compliance with HIPAA regulations, safety protocols, and company procedures during all deliveries.
- Ensure accurate completion of delivery logs, tracking updates, and chain-of-custody documentation.
- Perform routine inspections of delivery vehicles and courier equipment to ensure they are in optimal working condition.
- Provide exceptional customer service to medical staff and patients at drop-off and pickup locations.
Qualifications:
- Valid Driver’s License (Class C) and a clean driving record (no DUIs or recent serious infractions).
- Reliable personal vehicle (sedan or SUV preferred) with current insurance and registration.
- Ability to lift and carry packages weighing up to 30 lbs repeatedly throughout the day.
- Reliable smartphone with data capabilities for GPS navigation and tracking apps.
- Strong time management skills and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
