Responsibilities
- Transport medical specimens and packages from medical facilities to laboratories and testing centers safely and securely.
- Adhere to strict HIPAA and OSHA regulations regarding the handling of sensitive medical materials.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and professional vehicle at all times.
- Utilize handheld devices to track deliveries and update status in real-time.
- Verify recipient signatures and handle documentation accurately.
- Follow designated routes efficiently to ensure on-time performance.
- Report any vehicle issues or delivery delays immediately to the dispatch team.
Qualifications
- Valid Class C Driver's License with a clean driving record (no DUIs in the last 3 years).
- Pass a background check and drug screening.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Ability to lift up to 25 lbs and stand for extended periods.
- Strong attention to detail and time management skills.
