Responsibilities
- Transport medical specimens, sensitive documents, and medical equipment safely and securely to various healthcare facilities.
- Maintain the cleanliness and proper maintenance of the delivery vehicle at all times.
- Update tracking systems in real-time to ensure transparency and accuracy.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and safety regulations to ensure a secure delivery environment.
- Provide exceptional customer service to patients, hospital staff, and medical facilities.
- Verify delivery receipts and ensure proper documentation is completed accurately.
- Follow strict HIPAA compliance guidelines regarding handling of medical data.
Qualifications
- Valid Driver’s License (Class C) with a clean driving record.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
- Strong sense of punctuality and time management skills.
- Basic computer skills for logging deliveries and tracking.
- Physically capable of lifting packages up to 50 lbs and standing for extended periods.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Previous experience in logistics, delivery, or healthcare is a plus but not required.
